The Really Rottens was one of the three teams on Laff-a-Lympics, consisting of villainous characters. They would almost always cheat in competitions, which would mostly be caught in instant replays, resulting in their losing points. Their competitors were the Scooby Doobies and the Yogi Yahooeys.

- Due to legal issues, Dick Dastardly and Muttley from Wacky Races (characters co-owned by Heatter-Quigley Productions) were replaced with Dread Baron and Mumbly, respectively.
- With the exception of Mumbly and the Dalton Brothers, all members were original characters and were made just for Laff-a-Lympics.
- The Really Rottens have the least amount of victories out of any team in the series, having a total of three including the three-way tie from Siam and the Moon.
- This is mainly due to them being the main antagonist of the show, although it was said they always cheated, they did mange to win in some episodes without cheating.
- The Really Rottens are the only team to have all their members speak in both seasons of the TV series.
